Wildheart Gardens provides landscaping and garden maintenance. Our landscaping practices benefit our clients and also the environment. We use local native pollinators, interesting vegetables, fruits, medicinals, culinary and Mediterranean plants and organic products. The Nursery
Located in the Fruitvale District in Oakland, WH Gardens showcases seasonal plants, including vegetables, culinary and medicinal herbs, native pollinators, fruit trees, and Mediterranean plants. The nursery is open to the public by appointment and during seasonal plant sales.
About Christopher
Christopher Shein is an East Bay California permaculture gardener, designer, consultant, teacher and author whose gardening and social activism roots run deep. He has created permaculture food and pollinator gardens for community gardens, schools and public and private spaces all over the Bay Area. He is the author of The Vegetable Gardener’s Guide to Permaculture: Creating an Edible Ecosystem.
